| Over the last few years, the Federal and State Governments of the United States have began to make the purchase of Solar Energy Technology easier and more cost-effective. They have begun to implement a number of Solar Energy Incentives, Credits, and Rebates, and even more recently they have expanded the coverage of these incentives and increased their amounts.
A great source for information on Solar Energy Incentives is the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency. The DSIRE database contains a comprehensive list of all incentives, credits, and rebates that are available in each state in the United States, as well as the Federal Incentives that are available.
